Red Party is a student-run, not-for-profit organisation that focuses on advocating & fundraising specifically for HIV/AIDS support programs.

It forms the vital charity arm of WAMSS. We are dedicated to driving change in the HIV/AIDS scene in heavily affected communities in Southern Africa, Asia & the Pacific. The program aims to empower families and break down the barriers to achieving adequate healthcare and social support.

Locally, an equally important goal of ours is to de-stigmatise topics surrounding STIs, consent and sexual health within our own community.

100% of our proceeds go towards charity.

Since its inception in 2007, Red Party has engaged thousands of people and raised over $30,000 for our cause - this is a critical legacy we strive to sustain for many more years to come; to create a transgenerational impact & foster a community that cares.

What does the money do?

Education of safe sex in vulnerable populations including groups living below the poverty line, women, orphans, sex workers and MSM.
Care and support for people affected by HIV/AIDS, and ensuring treatment is accessible.
Home-based care, and support for health, education and welfare systems.
Campaigning at local, national, regional, and global levels for funds needed for universal HIV/AIDS prevention work, treatment and care.
To educate and to vitally address harmful misconceptions surrounding HIV/AIDS.
