WAMSS' primary aim is to represent the medical students of the University of Western Australia. WAMSS has representative positions on over 15 committees within the Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences, the UWA Guild, the Health Department of WA and the AMA (WA). These committees deal with a range of issues including the medical curriculum, student well-being and improving resources and infrastructure to manage increasing student numbers.
