The Executive is comprised of the President, Vice-President, Treasurer & the Secretary of WAMSS. We are responsible for the overall day-to-day management of WAMSS and managing the projects of the Society on an ongoing basis.

2008 is proving to be a hell of a year already. Standing on the shoulders of the 2006 and 2007 committees, we've really strengthened our existing initiatives, and added a whole range of new ones. Events such as The Red Party, Well Being, AMSA Debating Series all join our excellent range of events, like Allied Health, Bedpush, and our Education Lecture Series. The success of this is evident in the growing number of med students contributing time and energy to WAMSS and medical student issues.

We've increased our effectiveness in representing UWA medical students - streamlined co-operation with the Faculty, a broader role for year representatives, the Education Officer and other committee members in Faculty meetings. A new position, Marketing Officer, has been created to work towards better benefits for our members.

All contributions, suggestions and participation with WAMSS is welcome from the student body - we work for you! If you're looking to get action on a particular issue, start a new event, our just get involved for the benefit of your student community - we are always interested.
